Meet Jose

Born on October 10, 1986, in New York, Jose is a multi-award-winning gospel recording artist and pastor known for his passion, purpose, and powerful voice. From the moment he first stepped on stage at the age of six, it was clear he had a calling to both ministry and music. 

Driven by a mission to touch lives, Jose uses his music not just as a performance but as a vehicle to inspire hearts, stir faith, and bring hope. His journey is marked by a deep commitment to leaving a lasting imprint on every soul he reaches, always pointing back to God. 

Jose’s mantra is, “Blessed to be a Blessing, Called to Make a Difference, Dedicated to Changing Lives.” 

Hailing from the vibrant streets of Spanish Harlem, New York, Jose proudly embraces his Puerto Rican heritage. Though his career has taken him on a dynamic, almost nomadic journey, he now calls Kissimmee, FL, home. When God entered his life in a powerful way, Jose was transformed—not only personally, but with a renewed calling to impact the lives of others. Over the years, he has achieved many milestones, including: 

• Winning Apollo Amateur Night – Gospel Edition (August 2010) 
• Winning McDonald’s Gospelfest – Gospel Soloist and Male Gospel Soloist categories (May 2012 and 2014) 
• Winning Staten Island Gospel Festival – Male Vocalist Category (October 2012 and 2013) 
• Touring with Irving Street Rep’s remake of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Five Guys Named Moe (2013, 2014, and 2018) 
• Receiving the “Visionary Leadership Award” from the Williamsbridge NAACP Early Childhood Education Center (May 2014) 
• Being crowned “Mr. Puerto Rico” – King of the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade (May 2015) 
• Winning Steve Harvey’s “Sing Your Way to the Freedom Friday Party” Contest – Neighborhood Awards (August 2015) 
• Releasing His First 2 Long-Awaited Albums, The Peace Project and Paz y Serenidad (November 2015) 
• Top 12 on Season 20 of NBC’s The Voice (2021) 

Jose has touched lives across the world through his music, bringing hope and healing wherever he goes. Yet, his ministry extends far beyond the stage. He faithfully walks in the following roles: 

Outside of his work in entertainment and ministry, Jose is deeply passionate about healthy living and helping others achieve physical well-being. He actively educates others—particularly within African American and Hispanic communities—on proper eating habits to help prevent disease and improve overall health. 

In addition to his wellness advocacy, Jose is also a highly sought-after Zumba Instructor, combining fun, fitness, and encouragement to inspire positive change in the lives of those he reaches.
